About Us

Why Bridging the Gap Foundation?

Our Name, Our Philosophy

Bridging the distance between need and support

The name Bridging the Gap Foundation reflects our basic philosophy: there are often people who need support and, at the same time, there are people, institutions, resources and opportunities that can provide that support.

The distance between the two can sometimes be the greatest challenge. We seek to help connect them.

The name therefore represents our approach to social impact — not a single programme or area of work.

Our Vision

A More Inclusive Society With Greater Opportunity for All

We envision a society where people are not held back by financial circumstances, lack of awareness or limited access to essential services.

We aspire to create an environment where children can learn, families can live with dignity, people can access healthcare and legal support, and communities can receive help during difficult times.

Our Mission

To create meaningful social impact through action, partnerships and opportunity.

We work to:

  • Support quality and inclusive education
  • Promote healthcare awareness and access
  • Assist vulnerable individuals and families
  • Facilitate access to legal support
  • Respond to humanitarian needs
  • Build partnerships for larger social impact
  • Encourage community participation and volunteering
  • Develop sustainable programmes for the future
