Blood Donation Camp Facilitated By Bridging The Gap Foundation
The present times are such that requires everyone’s support to fight the crisis. With the number of corona patients increasing every day, it has become important to do our bit to save the society. While the government is taking the necessary steps, there are leaders who are going all the way to help in whatever way they can. One among them is Mr. Somanth Bharti Ji. Having successfully carried out many ration distribution, sanitization and other such necessary drives, he recently organized a blood donation camp facilitated by Bridging the Gap Foundation in collaboration with Red Cross Society.
Many donors came forth to donate blood for a noble cause including Mr. Bharti himself. The camp was organized at the Arya Public School Campus in Malviya Nagar. Each donor was presented with a certificate of honor, a donor card that can be used anytime and snacks by Mr. Somnath Bharti.
The donated blood would be used for the welfare of COVID-19 affected patients. With regards to donation, Mr. Somnath Bharti says ‘ I have always enjoyed working towards such causes and this time it was all the more important, given the present situation.’
He further said that Corona has proved this beyond doubt that all are but children of the same God, had that not been the case then blood of one religion would not have been accepted by the body of person practicing some other religion & this Blood Donation Camp is symbolic to religious Harmony in the society.
He also encouraged people to donate by educating them about the natural mechanism leading to blood formation within our bodies. Working on the humanitarian grounds takes courage as well as a willingness to work for a greater cause and Bharti ji does it quite effortlessly.
