E-Mohalla Meeting

Each family member stays strong when the family stays together and connected. The more they share their problems the more strength they get and the more light hearted they feel.

Thus, to keep himself close to each member of his family i.e. his constituency, Honorable MLA Mr. Somnath Bharti has laid the foundation of a new political era in India.

For many years, addressing the problems of residents and making himself available in “The Mohalla meeting” for each of his 35 Mohallas every month was a part of his normal schedule but this pandemic has definitely hit every course routine of us.

To keep his accessibility and accountability to remain optimum in all times and with an objective to add at least one member from each family in his constituency he has gone beyond all the conventional methods to keep his people happy.

For the first time in history of Indian politics, any Indian leader has marked his presence in one-on-one discussion with residents through a digital platform in “E-Mohalla Meeting”, hearing their sorrows and problems and offering them solutions and thus the innovative effort has been appreciated by Honorable Chief Minister of Delhi as well.
